Modern Floating Shelves

Work on a solid workbench or table. Make sure that your table is secure and doesn’t wobble. If the workbench moves around while you’re cutting the wood, your cuts won’t be straight.
STEP 1:Mark and cut your board as per Cutting diagram 1&2 as seen in above image.

STEP 2: You should now have 5 x Components as seen in above image.

STEP 5: Drill a 7.5mm Diameter Hole @ a depth of 55mm centre of shelf

STEP 6: Cut 10 x M8 treaded rod @ 130mm each.Next hammer each rod 55mm into shelf using a mallet leaving 75mm extruding from shelf.Make sure that the rod is perpendicular to shelf. SEE DIAGRAM BELLOW.

STEP 7: Use a Rapid Set Anchoring And Patching Cement.Fill each hole and immediately push each shelf into position and let it set.
